Terms of use
Last updated: 25 September 2026
1. The service
Endpoint Record provides automated safety verdicts for tokens on the Base network through the
endpoint https://api.endpointrecord.com/scan. By calling the endpoint or paying for a
request, you accept these terms.
2. No advice
A verdict is an automated risk signal derived from public blockchain data and third-party sources.
It can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. It is not investment, legal or tax advice, and it is not a
recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. You alone decide what to do with it. Checks that could
not be completed are marked with checkIncomplete; missing data never means a token is safe.
3. Price and payment
- Each verdict costs the price stated in the payment offer of the endpoint, currently 0.02 USDC on Base, paid through the x402 protocol.
- Payments are settled on a public blockchain and are final.
- Repeating a request with the same
requestKeyandtokenAddresswithin 24 hours is not charged again. - If a payment was settled but no verdict was delivered, repeat the request with the same
requestKey. If that does not help, write to us with the transaction hash. We will review every such case with due care. - Apart from that, and unless mandatory law provides otherwise, payments are not refunded.
4. Availability
The service is provided as is and as available. We may change, limit, rate-limit or discontinue it at any time. Prices shown in the payment offer at the time of the request apply.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attack, overload or probe the service for weaknesses, do not try to obtain verdicts without paying, and do not use the service for unlawful purposes. We may block requests that violate these rules.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected requests during the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for trading losses or for decisions you make based on a verdict. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.
7. Third parties
Payments are processed by an x402 facilitator and settled on the Base blockchain. Verdicts draw on third-party data sources. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of these third parties.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page with its date applies to requests made after that date. Completed requests are not affected.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
